More and more celebrities are already promoting e-cigs, so it's definitely foreseeable that the media also will begin to urge tobacco smokers away from regular cigs, and into e-cigs. Reasons why are:
1. 'smoke' goes against the whole 'going green' agenda, getting rid of pollution
2. 'smoke' makes people stink
3. second hand smoke is deadly
4. the 'smoker' is killing himself with all those chemicals
5. e-cigs are cleaner
6. e-cigs are healthier
7. e-cigs don't make you smell
8. e-cigs don't damage your teeth
9. e-cigs don't have a million deadly chemicals (just one)
10. E-CIGS WON'T BURN YOUR HOUSE DOWN!

All that needs to take place is a paradigm shift. The average smoker just needs the 'revelation' that e-cigs are just a next generation cigarette, a more logical, more ideal way to smoke. And that's where the media comes in - - the media controls people's lives.

A good example is gas prices. 3 years ago when gas prices soared, remember how panicky everyone got? It's because 24 hours a day the news channels kept talking about the horrific gas prices! so in turn, your family/friends were talking about it as if the world was ending.

However, in recent months gas prices have surged even higher than they had 3 years ago. But where's the panic? who's really talking about it? who really cares right now? Why don't we care? because the 'news' isn't talking about it hardly at all..... (why aren't they talking about it? well, this is the SFIO board, and that's not the point i am making)

the point is, once "TV" starts saying something, the general public starts to believe it. so when these e-cigs get popular, it's going to get crazy...

I don't know when this will start... it won't be too long. Philip Morris' right hand man already said that their company is going to make the transition into 'nicotine delivery devices' and they already purchased some type of patent, and they already said a complete transition will take place but it may not happen for 3 to 5 years for the tobacco cigarette to be fully replaced by the e-cigarette.

If PM and Co. have already drew up their plans and begun the process of switching over, it's safe to say, it's going to happen.

SFIO is in quite the position here, with an international patented vaporless device. I could go and on, but let's just say the Future is going to be very GREEN for share holders...
