Flatcat very nice posting with good detail regarding Sarbanes Oxley; I know of an International Company (Fortune 200) that actually decided the dollars related to Sarbanes Oxley was not longer worth being listing on the NYSE. They opted to leave and go back to the exchange where the company World Headquarters reside, how about that one!
