Flatcat is right. If BORK attempts to manufacture for a DOD contract at DOD specs then you will be sitting on your money for quite a while as BORK blows through cash.

They just don't seem ready for that. They would be better off launching with a subcontractor for DOD and using profits to build a commercial capicty for possibly law enforcement protection products with less specs. They can then cut their teeth in manufacturing and bring DOD in house later if thats where they want to go.

KZ needs to be right that the process they use is not so far out there than normal production that there is minimal retooling a vendor needs to undertake to get them onboard. Also, that the BORK folks know the industry well enough that they already have scoped the cost and process to retool a vendors line already.

I saw mention of contracts or at least orders already in hand. They must be one offs that they are self manufacturing. Does anyone know if they contracted out the production of the prototypes or were they created inhouse?

Flatcar,
Alcoa could be a probable producer, but with every future phase, probably will be more than
one company in final phases.
