Koran Joins First Growth Capital as VP, Midsouth Region

Koran has ten years of experience in originating, underwriting, loan documentation, portfolio management, workout and restructuring with expertise in asset-based and conventional commercial loans.

Prior to joining First Growth Capital, Koran's was with TAB Bank where he was responsible for business development for the Southeast region. Other previous positions include Business Development director for Universal Asset Lending Information Systems, LLC (UNALISYS), president of Gideon Financial, Inc and various positions at Benefactor Funding, Corp., JD Factors, LLC, and BB&T.

"I am very pleased that David has joined our Team," said Jay Atkins, president of First Growth Capital. "His experience and existing relationships with investment banks, commercial banks, intermediaries, turnaround professionals and attorneys will enhance First Growth Capital's position in the Midsouth region."

He is a member of Turnaround Management Association (TMA), Commercial Finance Association (CFA), Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) and a national board member of the National Funding Association (NFA) where he has served since 2003.

First Capital provides financing ranging from $3 million to $30 million to middle-market companies with annual sales from $10 million to $250 million. Credit facilities are focused on working capital solutions consisting primarily of factoring and asset-based loans to support growth, acquisitions, turnarounds and restructurings.
