Actually they don't. If they did we would have seen more runs like in 2009. They simply run off of actual worth, intrigue , speculation, and dreams. If a company can create those four things in the mind of investors be it day traders, flippers, or shorts and longs, you would see huge volume and a sharp spike in the PPS. As of yet the company is trying to grow without adding these four elements to the mix and in my opinion that is a mistake. If your talking about the NAS...then it relies more on the fundamentals of the company.

IMO charts only work in high volume stocks. That's why at some point in the past OBI got a reputation for what he does as the shares were trading in the high millions per day and message boards for each day took up numerous pages to flip through. But now volume is gone, intrigue is close if not already dried up. Speculation has been replaced with doubt, and dreams have been smashed for many as they look at their accounts.
