Ok, I'll be the fish...and bite on the LG ref. Big move announced last June in the solar field. No proprietary cell technology but if one was to look for a manufacturer of panels in which one could install cells - hmmm, smiley face LG would be nice?

And with their stated goal of becoming a "major PLAYER" in the solar field, well...if you were LG who would you want to partner with? Someone making silicon based cells that need subsidies to compete with the grid or do you want to "hook up" with someone who can/will kick the poo (sorry my kids make me watch South Park) out of the grid?
