During his campaign, Ollanta Humala pledged to respect the constitutional
rights of all stakeholders and to continue encouraging commercial
development in Peru along with seeking fair treatment for the various
economic groups therein. Time will tell how all of this will play out,
but many analysts believe that he will model his government's
business-related policies along the lines of Brazil's past President, Lula
de Silva.

Our company is prepared to operate within the parameters outlined by the
Peruvian governmental policies previous to, and as they play themselves
out, post-election.
