Good post Zink. Yes in one week Kim will know if the Zink Fingers took hold and worked as expected. I wonder if this news will be made public. Also it will take three months to produce cocoons. We could actually have 100% spidersilk in three months! However no anouncement will be made until an independent blind test is made at the overseas location. Not sure how long that process will take. One month? So Sept 16th ish cocoons made of 100% spidersilk and October 16th ish Major PR about achiving 100% spidersilk from silkworms.

<<Pure spider silk has been a long sought after "impossible to achieve" "holy grail" of biotech for a long time and has a massive potential market.>>

Maybe you could explain whether Dr. Fraser would be competent to use the ZF's or might we get some technical support from SIAL? Given the mutual benefits/interests, I would think that SIAL would have some people involved. It may be a very simple matter though, as well.

"and I've noted the consequences of being caught out when the big news hits. Those who closed out their positions may be lucky this time"

i was never the least bit concerned about that...nor should anyone else be..if only a fraction of the possibilities come true for kblb there will be plenty of opportunity to make plenty of money...the idea of using fear to buy stock just doesnt cut it..

So he's said that in about a week they should have results from the ZF modifications. Knowing the excellent track record of zinc fingers there is an extremely high probability of complete success. That's a big one, indeed. And then in a few weeks they can test the silk from the GM modifications. If, as expected, it's pure spider silk then that is the really really big one, and KBLB will no longer be a penny stock. Hello NASDAQ.

IMHO this is one of the best risk to reward ratios I've ever seen. But never use margin or borrowed money or money that you can't afford to leave in more than a short period of time, especially not money you need for bills that are due. Nothing is certain. Never put more money in any one stock than you can afford to lose.

You dont HAVE TO leave money in for "more than a short period of time" when investing in kblb.
