Actually I think it is more complicated than that...Commodity brokers govern the price of Oil...the Oil Companies benefit little from the price of gas at the pump....The Majority of that price is the cost of refining...which includes different blends for different areas...and taxes...the retailers will try to get the most out of their buck by playing games with raising and lowering the price of gas by the cost of Oil...when it goes up...they immediately raise prices...when it goes down...they give you the...we will lower our prices when we refill our tanks line...not all of course...the profit for the retailer is NOT that much from what I have read...

At least in Jersey....you don't even have to get out of your car...just roll down the window and say...fill her up James...hand them your cash or card and sit back...LOL
