Bottom line is bid support was not there when the seller exited.

Within the trading day, bid support appeared; likely as a result of seeing what had happened.

My position has always been that it's much more valuable for a stock to maintain strong bid support than having its share price appreciate at an accelerated rate.

Usually when bid support is strong and evident, the share price will ascend as traders sense there is no way to go but up while investors secure the floor from falling any further.

I suspect that w/the Form 10 nearing completion; the 2nd quarter report, and a few updates from the company SIAF will be able to attract a few of the sideliners to help prop up the bid and create the trading environment necessary to propel SIAF shares upward.

A message to all: If you want to see SIAF's share price appreciate, don't merely buy on the ask, place some of your investment on the bid and allow the floor to reflect strength to those considering buying shares. The result will be a steady growth in PPS.
