That is exactly right. If the end of day book keeping shows a short position for the 10 days then the MM would simply fill from another MM's account. But I still maintain there is no true short position by any investor or MM and that there will be no run up or short squeeze. I would also hope that those playing in this little penny pool are only playing with money they can afford to lose. I don't expect that but it is penny land.
