well, not to burst your bubble
but solar chargers are becoming very common

ive seen at least a dozen this weekend in shops i visited, some specific for apple/iphone, others generic with many plugs so that they can be used for many appliances

the specific "SNRS" charger you can find time and again under various names

for example here as "iHelios" on a dutch website, available for 39,95 EUR,
