Actually shares do trade on the gray market. To say otherwise is incorrect.

http://www.investopedia.com/terms/g/graymarket.asp

On the gray market shares are traded by brokers when they match a buyer and seller who agree on a quantity of shares and a price. Price = value. This accounts for the SMAS volume this year. This volume must have value, since trades on the gray market have a mutually agreed upon price. If there were no price, there would be no trade, and we would not see the trade listed on Level II. But of course we do see it. Those trades must by definition have value.

It is true that you and I can not place orders below .0001, and I have never suggested otherwise. However brokers are free to trade gray market stocks at any mutually agreed upon price, including under .0001. That is what we see in the SMAS volume this year, and some of the SMAS volume last year. This accounts for the volume we see under a pps of .0001. If what you have said about the gray market were true, then we would not see any volume below .0001. But we do.

Here is a source I have not provided before that proves once again that there has been SMAS volume this year, and that SMAS is therefore not "dead". It is the Historical Prices for SMAS listed by ADVFN, and it is thoughtfully provided for free by IHub right here on our very own SMAS board. Note the volume this year.
