I always felt like you'll get one of 2 responses should you call:

(1) Some Asian will lay a bunch of Asian dialect on you, leaving you silent at your end (unless of course you speak that language) or

(2) You'll get a long yawn and some fumbling noises, as you awake Merle from a long slumber.
