two great girls but the teen years and the mood swings ugh don't think i could do that over again. I think the last 2 years have taken 10 yrs off my life.

GOOD luck, I had a girl that had similar curfews when we were in high school. It made no difference to me, we did the same things before 10:30 as after. I would take her home and thern go see others that had later curfews.

I don't know about your friend but for my wife and I it was just life that had us ending up having our son late.

I took care of my grandmother for 10 years at the end of her life rather than put her in a nursing home. It was payback for her taking care of me after my mom died when I was 4. As for my wife lets just say she's my first wife. lol. She can't say the same thing though.

Yeah my son and I are familiar with the Fried Green Tomatoes syndrome now as we experience it on a daily basis. It's part of life.

Would my wife and I liked to have had kids earlier? I really don't dwell on that too much. I can still show them up at baseball practice like I did tonight by getting down on ground balls that they let go through their legs and hitting balls to the fence that simply can't run down. And as I explained to them what's your excuse I'm 5 times older than you. I've coached my son since he was 5 and I can pick out the kids who have never gone home and played catch with their dad. They are the same ones that bring their Crackberries and iPhones to practice and games.

And my wife she plays team mom and can't sit down when her son is pitching. She gets up 15 minutes earlier now to help him get his contacts in and that is something I really need to put on You Tube.

As you can see you don't always get the cards you wish for but you need to play the cards you're dealt. Not everything is as it seems.
