Drag, Retired3! You pull some hot info out of your hat! Thanks! It's a bit scary. I think you could find out what I had for dinner last Tuesday, given enough time. Are you clairvoyant, or did you work for the CIA in a former life?
Glad you are on our side!

I love the sound of that even if it's just a rumor. I’ve never understood why this would be a tough sell for any hotel other than Tivus is an unproven entity. That’s why I’m surprised at the lack of a more normal financing package over these convertibles. The potential should be obvious. If the advertising revenue predictions are even remotely accurate TIVU could truly become the industry standard and leave these other companies in the dust. You’ll have to go with them to be competitive if it works as advertised or be at a huge disadvantage over the competition.

RE:

OK, here is what the rumor mill is spinning. Tivus has blocked a lot of trade with their major competitors because of their tech. It is putting a crimp in their sales and major hospitality players are waiting for results of ad revenue work with Marriott Philly and the next big hotel deal with Tivus to see if the ad revenue is as big as projections show. It is acting like constipation for Tivus' competitors and other companies who are not happy with their slowing sales. Nobody wants to miss the boat on this revenue thing and with a recovering economy, don't want to get on long term contracts to get shut out of Tivus if what they advertise in ad revenue really works. I cannot verify any of this, but I suppose the 1st quarter results of sales in this market will prove or disprove.

maybe those suckers shorted TIVU back down from .20

anyway....
