Much of cable has value added programming and additional channels. do not forget cable also brings the internet to many. SAT TV is for the same reason for those that can not get cable & in some instances can not get any reception. No comparison,, Then-- some people pay big bux for water out of a different TAP but in a bottle,, so there always is a fringe element..LOL!
