That’s consistent with what Husseini Manji said on JNJ’s webcast last week. Manji did not mean to imply that JNJ deserved credit for the “nonlinear” reanalysis, but rather that JNJ knew the results of the reanalysis before investing in the program.

I mentioned this to rebut masterlongevity’s statement in #msg-63739492:

My guess is that [Manji’s] confidence was pretty high before the reanalysis. After all, they invested $1.4B in the product.
