Happy Holiday SMKY Board Supporters!
Just a quick note of up-date - we're moving forward in a positive direction with our product/brand program introductions to chain buyers and grocery distributors, but I can see why food brokers would always tell me that the process takes time. It does and I'm exercising patience. However, since we're not strapped with monthly broker retainer fees of several thousand dollars and I'm getting direct personal referrals from our seafood affiliate, the process is proceeding well and we continue to save precious capital. Orders will come (and Whole Foods may or may not be the first chain out), but our first line of offense is to rapidly build national brand awareness and commence revenue through on-line marketing by tapping the potential that Weight Watchers and other affiliates afford us. Internet branding will then provide direct support for convenient, spontaneous demand buying in the stores so we're moving the SMKY ship into the wind to fund our launch.
To respond to the flood of e-mails and phone messages I'm receiving from shareholders wanting current info and detailed answers to certain issues, I'll provide definitive news and answers in a release later this week. There's wonderful energy flowing to us; we are precisely in tune with the times of quality prepared food demand, a niche market product, and an investment climate hungering to back real winners.
