You: IHSN changed it's symbol to IHAI today. Will the trades made today be reversed or will they stand.
Lance: If the shares of the updated security were available to trade they should be honored.
You: Can you tell me if they were available?
Lance: I have a date of 05/31/2011 for the settlement of the new shares to be applied to your account.
Lance: Essentially the new shares are in the process of being delivered and are estimated to be finalized on 05/31/2011.
You: So todays trades on IHSN/IHAI will be reversed?
Lance: Trades for IHAI would not be reversed.
You: But, you said the shares weren't available until 5/31
Lance: The shares for existing share holders based on our clearing firm, the new symbol began trading which accounts for the trading activity today.
You: My account shows no volume for the stock but, there seems to have been a little over a million shares traded today?
You: Is that because the symbol hasn't been changed yet?
Lance: For existing stock holders yes, for the market it has already began trading under IHAI, IHAI had a volume of 1,094,202.
You: Ok, can you tell me if there is a reverse split planned?
Lance: I only show a symbol change at this point in time.
You: Ok, thank you.
