Please keep in mind that you are not the only one caught up with the Penson issue. From what I can tell the MMTE ran across the problem first and then it was discovered there is a 2-3 page list of Pensons stocks that are affected.
I wanted to see how accurate this Penson posting list was so I purchased a few thousand shares of CWR* the mining company. The order went through and funny thing is I still have them, I purchasd them low and I am currently green on that holding. This was after the list was posted on 2 May! I was charged teh typical $6.95 commission from Zecco and that was it.
So the point of this is although Penson published this list (and it is their list) they do not always uphold it.
I would still encourage you to consider your alternatives. I understand you are upset and I was too, but so were so many others when this was first discovered. MMTE was flooded with emails/calls from people complaining about this!
IMO this issue will not be completely resolved until everyone holding MMTE sells/rebuys at another broker; OR transfers out of Zecco to another broker.
