Good thought, Greg

But in the final analysis why should we care what "non Christians" think or believe. our four kids were raised in a conservative family of the catholic persuasion. everything went well until college. In 1970 son No. one goes off to a good jesuit school in New Orleans. Christmas break of his 2nd yr he comes home and informs us there is no God. And we discovered later that his "professors" held a few "coke" parties for the kids in their homes. We decided the other three would go to local colleges where we could "monitor" what their professors were telling them. You know how it goes: "I don't care what your parents told you, I'm going to tell you the way it REALLY is". Or, "You will be constantly re examining what you think you know". These three were a problem to the professors. I told them to have the professors call me if my kids were a problem. They never did. I suggest you send your children to a college close to home. That's where we lose them.

The evil in our land has become very powerful since ww2. You might ask why God is such a problem tothem. He always has been. In a land of Christian majority we find ourselves wearing the badge of sufferance. The nativity scene, and any Christmas song relating to Christ is strictly taboo. We no longer hear Hark the Herald Angels, silent night, the first Noel, etc. We hear jingle bells, winter wonderland, white Christmas (written by a non Christian) and so on.

Where are the "Christian" churches who should be fighting this trend? And who in our "Gov't" stands up for our heretofore Christmas traditions?

Good talking to you. No need to reply--just think about it
