This is common when there's a name change, RM, RS or anything else like that. I went through this recently in a RS- the shares sat in account for 10 days before we could access them. The shares are sent to the DTC (Deposit Trust Corp) and then distributed to the brokers who then distribute to shareholders. Different days and times are also common- for example- my friends w/ think or swim got their shares before etrade and scottrade people.
Deep breath :) This will be fine. One thing - a PR would have been useful for people to know ahead of time to ease panic and confusion.
