Took some hikes in various regions of Africa when I was a wee lad... a life time ago it seems and have done my best to forget the place. LOL
If I never go back I will be a happy camper. LOL
This board (just guessing) is composed primarily of people who have never been to far removed from civilization as we know it. I think it's easy for many of them to forget many parts of Africa aren't far removed from the bronze age, and probably never will be. :)
