IMO there were two critical mistakes Ben made when he released Realtime for the second time. First, he didn't change the "look" of it AT ALL. He should have done something to give it some different looking eye candy. It would have showed investors that they truly did work on the program after Dru's disaster of a release. Second, there were very vital elements of the platform that STILL were not operational when it was released the second time. One of those elements would be the drop down window where you enter in the symbol of the stock(s) you want to see on level two. When working properly, that feature is supposed to store all the symbols you are following so that if you want to switch to a different stock for an L2 look see all you have to do is click that drop down window, place your mouse pointer on the symbol you want to view, and click on it. This saves a of time when you are trading more than one stock.
There were a couple of other features that were also not working and they should have been. Had there been a different look to the program, and had all of the features been working, I think the second release of Realtime would have been MUCH better.
The second release was not a total failure. The data feed did function properly, and it was very fast. I put it up against MyTrack on many occasions and Realtime was consistently faster. Not by a lot, but it was faster.
