That's an interesting theory, though it assumes that the only interested party Varney could get for the interim/bridge financing is Samyang. Samyang presumably wouldn't be able to get away with such blatant behavior if Varney had other interested financing entities to choose from. It's not unusual for a financing entity to manipulate the share price down during the pricing period of a financing, but they usually do it on the sly, not out in the open as Samyang is doing.
