PIRE, EBIG's reputation depends on these IPO's. How good is EBIG at facilitating successful IPOs is what will make or break the company. Take a look at SQNS. Cramer just did a piece on that on Friday, saying it's a great company, but it tanked because UBS did a lousy job in generating interest in the company. If that's the case, how many companies are going to put their faith in UBS.. they'll go elsewhere for an underwriter.

Only one chance for a first impression. If the first IPO goes south because the market happens to be bad that day or week, or happens to be in a correction mode, that's one thing. The IPO date gets set in advance. But if it's a dud because EBIG didn't market it well, then that's a problem with EBIG. Big money won't invest in EBIG until they have some evidence that they can accomplish what they set out to do.
