Well My wife and I Used to make the trek to Vegas 2 to 3 Times a Year and ALWAYS stayed at the Stardust.. we were there 3 weeks prior to the Closing and I saw Maint folks Touching up Paint on some trim Near the Lounge .. Boyd folks really Know how to take care of there Facilities .. It was a Real Mistake tearing it down.. But I understand they have it in thier head that they HAVE to go after the Oriental Business... weve now been going to the Fremont about once a Year , The rooms are clean the People are great and the Atmosphere Downtown FEELS Like the Strip used too Before they started all that Mega-Casino Crap..

Of Course the Biggest thing Keeping people from Heading for Vegas Now is the Price of the Plane tickets Used to fly from Chicago to vegas for $150 or Less Round Trip Now its over $400

Way back in 1982, there was a horse that ran at Longacres Racecourse in Renton, Washington named Mr. M. T. Pockets. There's your bit of useless blab for the day.
