The Eco-Pole is designed to be self energized and free-standing. Not connected to the grid at all.
Its lights operate at 12V DC and the turbine can generate up to 300 watts.
It has two batteries that can store a charge for 36 hours.

self powered i talked to sales team on placing one on vac lot not ment for grid but if you had a power hook up and run to meter and you were set up that way why not
