Movies are one thing...but TV show aimed at kids a completely different story. Many parents will not want their kids to watch his TV show based on what he's done. I've already talked with co-workers who said they wouldn't let their kids watch it (since they brought it up), and I would suspect many parents will feel the same way, especially women.
Just look at Tiger Woods, Charlie Sheen and even PeeWee Herman (as the best example) of the mighty that have fallen. People are forgiven over time but they usually have to go through a heck of a lot of to get back to where they were. Perfect example of that there is Rob Lowe, granted he's working but not as popular as he was back in the day before his meltdown.
