The company believes that in many instances, licenses for Hop-on patents are required by third parties to manufacture and/or sell digital cellular products. Hop-on has received a Utility Patent and Design Patents as part of its initial portfolio. The essential utility patent required by the market is necessary for the commercialization of wireless handsets and other consumer electronics. (Reference US Patent 6,994,592) The Design Patent on a MP3 Phone utilizes side speakers in addition to front and side buttons to activate camera/video features.
