Well, I guess since I am narrowminded and my assessments narrowsided (though I assume you mean narrow sighted), then I guess you don't want me to reply. But I'm gunna do it anyway.

Sometimes volunteering is something that people do to help others and they do it because it is the right thing to do...not to get praise and not to get an Attaboy or two. They do it because they see an opportunity to help a cause. If someone is nice enough to volunteer their time and resources to help others, why demand their names or handles? What benefit are you going to get by knowing that information? Sure, it will satisfy your curiosity, but what purpose will be served beyond that? What would you do with that information once you had it? A handle on a message board is going to tell you exactly what?

They wish to remain anonymous and I see absolutely no reason to refuse them that request. Volunteering "with you hand PROUDLY held high" only ensures that you are an easy target for those that are against what you are trying to accomplish.

One last thing, your "one last thing" was ridiculous. All is well in that area whether you "get those handles" or not. This all comes down to you thinking that someone knows something that you don't. Get over it and just send a thank you out to the board for those people that are kind enough to anonymously help you.

I second that emotion!!!
We all got screwed by listening and believing whatever Dean spouted in his CC's. Some of you went on and on about how wonederful a leader he was. Well once burned, twice shy! I don't feel like getting burned again. I am NOT comfortable giving out personal information to someone I don't know. If they are "ordinary shareholders" with an altruistic bent, then
a) Why would they have access to any information that other "ordinary shareholders" could not obtain on our own?

b) Why can they not be forthcoming about who they are and why they need the information thye are gathering?

Nope, too many unanswered questions. Reminds me of that uncle I never knew I had, who had a massive fortune that he left to me when he died suddenly and all I have to do to collect it is give the "attorneys" access to my checking account... yeah, right!
