I'm not too familiar with it. But I believe it is called a super 8k because it is involving an acquistion/merger
I found this online : A "Super 8-K" includes all of the information required by a Form 10 Registration Statement under the 1934 Act, except that no additional shares are being registered. A separate Form 10 can be filed and incorporated into the Form 8-K that announces the completion of an acquisition or merger.
