Certainly the chance of either of them happening before December 24 is rather low, so the fact that neither has happened yet doesn't make me think they won't.

Seriously, Hammer will launch unless AMD runs out of liquidity. I don't see that happening, esp. after the latest mid-quarter update.

But MU's bad results and stories like the following don't bode well for the PC industry as a whole: http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=6820 This sort of slump isn't supposed to happen until Q1 when everyone wakes up with a hangover January 1 and finds out they overordered for Xmas.
