So lets get this straight your saying my broker bought shares lent me shares well even if someone bought those shares that I sold to pay back my broker later some other broker bought those and lent them as well to have his client pay him back later well does that not tell you something nothing except there are many thinking this is going down and will disapere and that there right.

There is a limitation put on a borrowed stock as to when it has to be paid back and that you have to talk with your broker but mine is five years now were that figure comes from I don't realy know but I wouldn't take such a chance my self granted should they reverse the stock and you only borrowed and shorted twenty thousand shares and it is reversed twenty thousand for one well you will only have to come up with one share to pay back and that may only cost you twenty bucks depending how many shares the company has new in there treasury stock and that will depend on how many hang on to there one share and how many pros are working the board.

Interesting but nope I wouldn't do it still without a covering my short position to risky.

The Finra Numbers Do Not Mean Shares are Really Sold Short.

It means the transaction was sold short, but the shares could still be delivered to the buyer from their broker without another transaction showing on the tape. The numbers you are seeing are garbage...completely meaningless. It tells you nothing as to how many of the shares were truely intended to be sold short. Most of the recorded "short transactions" are legitimate sales. There may still be a large unreported/illegal short position, however, you don't have a way of calculating it accurately.

That said, I do believe this stock will have a bounce. The people buying these 3's and 4s will bounce it back when the company is done dumping. However, there is no fundamental value in the common stock to the Preferred Shares. See the 10k.

See this post that explains the FINRA numbers clearly:
