I don't even understand the kooky rationale as to why they even put that silly stipulation in contracts. What on earth is the JDA going to do with 25% of the property? Drill it themselves? And obviously, the oil companies are going to want to relinquish what they believe to be the least productive 25% of the property, so what crazy purpose does it even serve for the JDA to get 25% of wasteland?
The only crazier thing in the contracts, I think is the 2 year for each phase crap or was it 4, 2, 2,? Whatever. 6 to 8 years to get 3 phases done is absurd.
