From what I have read, the reverse split is an attempt to draw institutional investors.

My understanding is that shares under 5 are considered 'speculative' while shares over 5 are considered 'investment'.

Since they state the reaction from investors was good regarding this morning's float announcement, they must be aware that all the buzz will position this stock to be at 5+ after the RS.
