A trade at the ask is considered a 'buy', a trade at the bid is considered a 'sell'.
A trade always consist of someone buying and someone selling.
Trades at the ask are good because that means someone is willing to pay that price to get the shares, instead of waiting for a someone to sell at a cheaper price.
Might be someone who knows or expects something, and wants to have his shares badly...
