Update on UNVC DD

This DD is a correction to a previous posting I made that had errors. As always, do your own DD.

About UNIVEC (UNVC)

From Sept 30,2010 10Q
http://www.otcmarkets.com/edgar/GetFilingHtml?FilingID=7550890

Univec, Inc. (Company) distributes, produces, licenses and markets specialty pharmaceutical drugs. Physician and Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. (PPSI), a subsidiary, provides pharmaceutical samples and group purchasing services for pharmaceutical companies and health care providers.

The company has gone through a transition period for its business model to focus on pharmaceuticals and the marketing and distribution of its own private line as well as a private distributor of other lines. The Company management believes that the concentrated resources will produce greater results, with greater profit margins.

The Company will focus on the distribution, marketing, development and distribution of its pharmaceutical and proprietary products .

Background on PPSI, a UNVC subsidiary - CORRECTED

From Jan. 7, 2002 PR

Farmingdale-based Univec, Inc. (OTCBB: UNVC - news) a leading manufacturer of patented auto-disable and safety syringes, today announced the acquisition of Physician and Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. (PPSI) of Baltimore, Md., a leader in the $8 billion drug sampling market.

PPSI's founder, Dr. David L. Dalton has assumed the position of President and CEO of Univec. Dr. Dalton has over 35 years experience in the healthcare industry, including 18 years with Rite-Aid where he was Corporate Vice President. In addition to PPSI, Dr. Dalton also founded Health Resources, Inc., and Pharmacy Services, Inc.

Dr. Dalton will focus on building Univec's presence in U.S. markets. According to Dr. Dalton, "We intend to continue Univec's leadership position in the design and manufacture of safe health products by aggressively expanding our distribution and product portfolio." Joel Schoenfeld, founder and Chairman of Univec, will continue as Chairman and will focus on Univec's international and government sectors.

From PPSI Website
Physician and Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. engages in promoting pharmaceutical company prescription samples to physicians in the United States. It provides the drug sampling services through its online network. The company was founded in 1996 by David L. Dalton and is based in Baltimore, Maryland. As of December 31, 2001, Physician and Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. is a subsidiary of Univec, Inc.

November 22, 2010 PR - Form 15
NexCen sells franchise businesses to Global Franchise Group and dissolves itself. Now a shell?

NexCen Brands, Inc. used to be "a strategic brand management company with a focus on franchising. It owns a portfolio of franchise brands that includes two retail franchise concepts: TAF(R) and Shoebox New York(R), as well as five quick service restaurant (QSR) franchise concepts: Great American Cookies(R), MaggieMoo's(R), Marble Slab Creamery(R), Pretzelmaker(R) and Pretzel Time(R). The brands are managed by NexCen Franchise Management, Inc., a subsidiary of NexCen Brands".

Dr. David Dalton appears to be now the Pres and CEO of the NexCen shell.

Other input is appreciated.

I retract that DD

I wrote that when I first invested in UNVC in November of 2010. It turned out to be erroneous. In subsequent DD, I could find no indicators of any type of business going on for UNVC.

It is now May 2011. NOthing is happening with this stock. It is periodically pumped for a few bucks, but there is no working company here.

Suggestions for DD
- Contact the CEO and ask about current business.
- Read the financials
- Look up addresses and phone numbers

Really - there is nothing here. I still hold shares - utterly worthless.
