I disagree that sales were from people claiming the train was about to leave the station. I honestly believe those longs have maintained their shares in their anticipation of much higher prices still to come.
However, many of us who have held for three years, and who openly criticise Gene performance, or lack of performance, did lighten our holdings here. I know I repeatedly posted that I could see no reason for the optimism expressed by many regulars on this board. My position has cost me in that I no longer receive messages/emails from a couple peeps who fall into that catagory, and who I have great respect for.
Again, these people have not sold (IMO). Some even bought more at the 0.0002 level. I still trust their integrity in posting what they believe, even if I can't actively support their beliefs. Gene has not bothered to make a move to correct any of the problems we are facing. He has never released OS figures, financials, and even bothered to respond to any of the questions posed on this board.
Lastly, until we have real contact info so that we shareholders can actually express our concerns directly, I will continue to express doubts and or outright criticism. Our money has been tied up backing an individual who has done nothing for us in over two years. He diluted us and got caught at it. We may have shorts here, but how would we ever know with the complete lack of openess - bordering on outright deceit?
If I unload another 10 million shares (we need a bid for that) I will hold my last 20+ million another couple years before even considering reducing further. I will always remember the many lessons this stock has given us.
