#1569 RE: The Original dpb5! #1568

'The Original dpb5!'

I've been a long time holder of GO stock, so I personally appreciate your comments in reply. I've lived them too. The idea is still a good one. DIS needs to recognize that. They blew the first go at it, but can still do something for the future. The i-net is not going away and will continue to grow as a huge communications/information medium. DIS needs to take its minimalist approach now and mature it over time. Doing so might, when all is said and done (and particularly in light of the massive market adjustment we're in), put DIS in a superb position relative to other net entities to erode their support and build GO's presence. Remember, the Yahoos of the world have been hit hard. They are a lot more vulnerable than they were up until a few months ago. DIS has the staying power to make this work if they can leverage the agility, management, and intellect to capitalize on the site they now have. Its a great re-invention, I think. I like it better than any they have done to date and think it very user friendly and with great potential.

On a separate note and in response to your DD for recoupment, I'd be very interested in what you discover or learn. Same thing regarding the class action law suit. I am very bitter about what has transpired over the past couple of years (promises made and broken, failure to respond to stockholder inquiries and questions, and gross negligence in the management of the operation--to name just a few) and, while I look forward/hopeful to a better future, I would still like to recoup from DIS the losses I sustained, through their extremely pathetic/poor performance on many levels. V/R rws (e-mail here or to GO.com would work, too).
