Sand Island was the BBQ heaven. I actualy planted a few palms on that island that lasted a few weeks. Its about touching Dauphin now. The last time I was down you could swim to it with ease. One day that will be the new beach. We would hit islands all the way over to New Orleans, and intercoastal all the way over to St Georges island. Drunken boating back then.
