These foundations are superior to any other foundation for use on compressive or expansive soils such as adobe, clay or bay mud, which create stress and movement in traditional concrete footings and foundations. Preliminary testing of a 2-story 15 foot by 10 foot building has shown to have no ill-effects after being placed on a shaker-table for simulating the Sylmar and El Centro earthquakes.”
