As far as the patent goes....there are soooo many variations on products these days that it is virtually impossible to monopolize something like this. You could run it through an ice filter at the end of the extract process and say that it "enhances absorption" or something silly like that and BOOM...you have a completely different product.

Newroc.....the pps has MUCH more potential to go UP than DOWN at this point. I am not going to say that there is no chance that this company could tank.....it's a penny stock. But when you look at the pieces on the board it is pretty easy to see how this is playing out. Even variations of the scenario I played out have a huge upside for CBIS.

One more thing...

The hope is the topical oil...yes. But I believe that once CS has revenue streams and proper management....we will all see a string of products and JVs that will tap into the true potential of CS.

I dont think that's exactly true...

Thanks for your nice answer! So the hope is topical oil. But if they do not have the patent, it can be easily produced at anywhere! I remember they will vote a name for this oil. And it takes months to find a good name!

first, there is the outstanding issue of the request for patten filing with the University. No telling where that is, but it remains on the stove somewhere.

Second, the current research literature suggests different THC CBD ratios in a strain can have different impacts on different afflictions. This is true for other cannabinoids as well. So, the strain could be critically important in the process. I think that's what RB may have been working on, but who knows. Still, its not simply a matter of plant-crush-bingo hash oil that cures skin cancers.
