Your new to trading ? No split of any sort is likely or needed. If a stock is maxed out of it's authorized shares then that becomes a possibility. With an authorized sharecount of several billion - even at 160 million shares, we are well under the threshold of maxing out the share structure.
Some pennies, like say GOIG have floats over 1.8 billion shares- yet still manage to reach highs of 6 cents.
We have such a tiny float in comparison that when good momentum and great news hits, we could go well about 10 cents in a 2 week period.
The recent activity on the board - or should I say lack thereof tells me that more than 1 trading group is currently accumulating shares. These groups buy slowly over weeks at the bid only.
The market makers will sell shares like this over time.
I know because I have done it myself.
The word is we are being accumulated heavily in anticipation of a massive run.
