Woof! I hate to admit it, but I think that they could have @ least created a website. How much effort does that take?

Msg. from Art & Mngmt...

Personal note: I checked for the current status of the TQD patent earlier today. As it turns-out , a decision was rendered today & on 1st appearances , It didn't look to swell. Upon seeing this , I sent-off an e-mail to mngmt & Art in particular , expressing concerns & asking where we go from here. Here is their response to this development & an explanation of how things proceed from this point on. Before reading this , I ask that you keep in mind that Dr.Bob has previously commented on this topic , pointing-out that in addition to their (pending) TQD IP , QTMM also has Dr.Jabbours patent under their belt as well as, other (so far) un-disclosed 'trade secrets & IP':

Hi David,

Thank you very much for your message. This is for publication.
Our patent attorney, a partner in the PA firm, replied making the following points-

Final rejections are very typical in the process but not the end of the process.
What [it] is uncommon to get a quick and easy allowance.
You only need to pay a new fee to continue.
The patent attorney will examine the letter and take best and appropriate actions.
They expect to achieve "allowance" of the patent through a steady process.

---------------- end paraphrasing -----------------

I found this explanation of possible actions on the internet -
http://www.invention-protection.com/ip/publications/docs/Final_Rejection_of_a_Patent_Application_What_to_Do.html

You can read similar information from the U.S. Patent Office here-
http://www.uspto.gov/web/offices/pac/mpep/documents/0700_714_13.htm

Reading this "What to Do" article along with our patent attorney's points
tell me that the patent application is very much alive and well. Patent
applications take a long time and this is evidently one of the reasons.
There are many possible routes but we are confident that our patent
attorney will bring us through the process successfully.

Sincerely,

Art Lamstein
