The IPO is a public offering of stock to raise Money. It can be preferred shares not open to you or me (Retail). This is most likely. They can be common stock not open to Retail. Moderately likely. Or common stock open to Retail. This is very unlikely. I'll give you an example here. There is a IPO right now with O'hare airport. They just extended the IPO because they sold out. The O'Hare IPO has a lot of issues- Oil Prices very high and going higher ( Making Air Travel less attractive) Also the Illinois area is one of the worst hit areas in the country (during this global economic crisis ) And they still sold out of the IPO shares! BTW Ahead of time. An IPO for anything to do with OIL, well I'll let you figure that out.
After the IPO the Value of Arcland goes thru the roof $125M to $175M Add in the Intrinsic Value May go to 1/4 Billion to 1/2 Billion Dollar Company. MIDAS TOUCH anything that touches or is associated with Arcland also goes up.
