I'd take that thinking one step farther...from what I've been able to determine, Steve has been QTMM's 'primary' financier so far. This is more than conjecture...it has been clearly pointed-out in a number of filings by virtue of his recorded 'loans' to the company for continued operations.
Don't know about you but to me, this is a clear indication of just how confident SS is in QTMM's future as well as a snapshot of his savvy on avoiding the pitfalls of cannibalistic VC funding.
All-totalled, Steve has put a great deal of 'his own' funds into this venture...pretty sweet if you can do it...he is clearly no pauper & if this performs as expected, he'll be rewarded quite handsomely....as will we all.
On a related note...it should be remembered that it wasn't just Steve buying more shares...5 or 6 other parties (pretty sure they are 'insider'...directors etc[?]) bought-up a large number of Steve's shares in a private sale (with their 'own' funds) at a preferred pps, presumably posturing themselves to get a piece of this action before launch.
