Oh, it's been tested alright... It doesn't remove ANYTHING from rooms. Ions supposedly make the particles heavier and they fall to the floor. Then they get kicked back into the air when you walk into the room. Then they fall back down. But the Ionic Bulb does NOT clean, filter or eliminate anything. It's just a CFL with an ion generator that a person has no way of knowing whether it's operating correctly or not.
