It's old news, but it' hidden news. Elite's not official release/announce yet!

It's actually not old. The patent was approved in Dec 2010; but just was reported today. I think the "International Status Report" status of a patent is important after the patent was approved. This means Elite now officially own the patent, internationally.

Approval means it's accepted in a scientific perspective, Report means it's accepted in a business owning perspective.
